Welcome to our campsite!
You are warmly welcome to stay at our motorhome site in the middle of the forests near Finnerödja. This is the unique base for true nature lovers; from the motorhome site there are many hiking and cycling opportunities in the beautiful green nature of Sweden. Located in the tip of Västra Götaland, right between Sweden’s two largest lakes.

Features of the caravan site
- The site is located about 6 kilometres from the E20 between Gothenburg and Stockholm, which also makes it a perfect location if you are passing through.
- Our motorhome site has space for 4 motorhomes. You park your motorhome in the wooded part of our garden.
- We are open all year round to welcome you!
- Electricity is available at an extra cost. A water tap is available.
- There is no possibility to discharge dirty water.
- There is no possibility to empty a chemical toilet.

- We will be happy to help you if you are looking for tips and ideas for a day trip. We can also think of plenty of activities for you to do. For any other questions, we are available during the day (by phone).
Practical information
- The motorhome pitches are spacious enough for motorhomes up to 8 metres long. If you have a larger motorhome, it is advisable to contact us in advance.
- The low season runs from 9 September to 5 June, with check-in possible from 12:00, check-out by 11:00.
- High season from 6 June to 8 September, check-in possible from 14:00, check-out by 12:00.
- The price per night per motorhome in low season is 140 SEK.
- The price per night per motorhome during high season is 190 SEK.
- For electricity you pay 50 SEK per night extra.
- We understand almost all (Northern) European languages, but we speak Dutch, Swedish and English ourselves. Google Translate was invented to help us with the rest.
- Your four-legged friend is of course also very welcome, if kept on a lead. Walks are done next to our premises and droppings must be cleaned up.
- Residual waste and green waste can be put in small bags in the container. All other waste (plastic, paper, glass, cans, drinking containers) can be left at the rubbish station behind ICA Nära in Finnerödja.
Characteristics of the area
- 1.8 kilometres away is Högsåsen, a small nature reserve with a fantastic viewpoint at 216 metres above sea level. From here, on a clear day, you can even see Kinnekulle beyond Mariestad. Several activities for children have been organised around this viewpoint.
- 3.2 kilometres away is Kvarnfallet, part of the Högsåsen nature reserve, a beautiful piece of nature with hiking trails of varying lengths and with plenty of barbecue and roasting facilities. Here, too, children can take a shortened 900-metre walk with trolls and gnomes along the way.
- Gårdsjö Badplats is 3.4 kilometres away, where you can swim, fish, have coffee and even barbecue and chill out.
- 8.3 kilometres away is the nearest ICA Nära where you can shop. Other options for this are in Hova, 12 kilometres away, or in Laxå, 21 kilometres away.
- Tiveden National Park, 37 kilometres away, is definitely worth a visit. Here you can enjoy the varied nature with mountains, cliffs, lakes and forests while hiking. There are plenty of clearly marked hiking trails. You can also enjoy a day at the beach here, in the centre of the national park.
- There are several tourist resorts in the area that you can visit, such as the harbour town of Mariestad on Lake Vänern, Askersund on an outlet of Lake Vättern or the town of Örebro with its many shopping opportunities.
- During sunrise and sunset, there are always animals to see around the motorhome site; from moose to deer and from foxes to cranes. But keep your eyes open during the day too, because you might get lucky!
